Here I Am!
Wow, an update, its beginning to be a pattern in my life, no updates to ye old LJ.
Anyway, off I go.
Things here are good. Moved into Joe's house over the weekend, smooth as compared to my last moving experience (which couldn't have gotten much rougher) and most everything is unpacked. I have to organize my office stuff yet, but I am not too worried about all of that. I had an entertaining adventure with an upholstery cleaner last week while cleaning my couch and chair before the move. Mmmm, soap suds. Well, it was a lesson, and the furniture turned out nicely as well, so it wasn't a failure or anything. I drove a U-haul for the second time in my life. Not only was it a turbo diesel, but it was from Canada, so the spedometer was in kilometers. I ended up driving rather slowly, unintentionally mind you. It was fun.
Work is work. . .yep, there it is.
I am excited about going to see family for Christmas in a few weeks. Joe and I have already completed our Christmas shopping, now I just have to get the cards out. My mom called me on Sunday to inform me that she accidentally gave my sister's Christmas ornaments to me when I moved, so I was at the UPS store this morning shipping them back to her. Joe and I plan on getting our tree this weekend, so by the time the branches settle and are ready to be decorated I should have my ornaments as well.
Joe posted some engagement pictures on his livejournal (karzon, me not know how to do fun LJ linky things) so go check them out! My favorite is the fourth photo, I think.

EDIT - People who live in the Northeast Ohio area - I want to see people! My grandmother lives in Kent. If you want to get together between the 22nd and the 26th let me know.
