Quick update!
Complete with cool bullet point things!
I think that's it. My back is KILLING me (been playing the viola all day), and I think I'm coming down with something (NOT an option, 'cause this week is gonna be hell on wheels; plus I'm also singing on Saturday in addition to sawing the fiddle* and can't afford to have a swollen, scratchy, and/or raw throat). Good night.
*If you for one second took that literally and thought that I will actually be playing a fiddle, we need to have a serious talk. ;-p
- So I learned that drinking Coke on a VERY EMPTY stomach is REALLY bad. Last night was NOT fun.
- Found out that one of my totally awesome guy friends--in whom I just might have been slightly interested--has a girlfriend. Should've seen that one coming. The ones who act sure of themselves are always either taken or not worth my time. When will I learn?
- I love my khaki corduroy jeans. Now if only I had some comfortable and nice-looking brown shoes to wear with them (because I hate black and khaki...it's HIDEOUS. It's gotta be brown and khaki).
- My parents might be coming to visit. I'll finally be able to watch them open their Christmas presents, haha (I refused to mail them--I wanted to give them in person, dag gonnit!)
- I went from being a future audience member to future band member--my friend Ethan is performing at New City Cafe on Saturday the 27th and he invited me to join the fun! If you're in the Knoxville area, mark your calender and see me or New City for more details!
- I currently have 6 jobs (two symphonies, two string ensembles, office work at my church, and private teaching), and I'm looking for a 7th. Welcome to the life of a starving musician. Oh yeah, and if you count freelancing (like what I'm doing this Satuday), that's 7 jobs, going on 8.
