Me to the tradffic woman at the construction near my work: "New Traffic Pattern today, eh?"
Traffic woman in response: "I know, eh?"
Just in case anyone thought Canadians never said "eh".... *grins*
And then there was two random boys doing Jackass-like stunts at the pool.
Three young adults, all three of them large guys, come barrelling through the facility, not paying and then bolting through the changerooms. They were wearing winter clothes (it's pouring buckets here and I'm in a wool sweater in august....) and Bright Flourescent Inner Tubes. One of the teens had a video camera.
Long story short, Supervisors and Manager (all three women) get to put into practice wrestling moves to kick these guys out, after one of them leapt up the high diving board and jumped off it when it was closed for safety reasons.
It was hilarious.
I went and saw Susan tonight. My eye dripped the whole time, I may be getting pinkeye. AGAIN. Oy. (I hate my work sometimes). But we had so much fun anyways. She always forgets how old I am. And by old I mean,' how much younger I am than she'.
I stayed up until 2.00AM last night watching Kill Bill Vol. 2. That was a GOOD movie. I liked it. I'm so effign tired though. Tomorrow I'm doing laundry, napping and calling Mark.
Shin splints again. Ow.
Feel quite bad for the female triathalon silver medalist; I was rooting (<-- lol. little joke there) for the Aussie. I was not cheering for the Aussie turned Austrian who overtook her in the last 350 meters of the run to take the gold.....
I will miss Susan as she heads to Sweden for Capernwray on September 14th. She is like a sister to me. We have agreed to be Capernwray pen pals as her program is year long and she will still be in school when I attend Caperwray in Australia.
