umm, so goodbye summer. i was looking forward to autumn, anyways, by the second week of august. sweaters, scarves, pretty leaves, you know. but i seem to forget every year about what autumn in vancouver is really like. i'm being reminded now how it smells and how it feels, and about how the bottom of my pants get wet, and fallen colored leaves aren't as pretty when they're floating down puddles into dirty gutters. but either way, goodbye summer and hello autumn. in some funny way we've still missed you. welcome back.
