Inglourious Shepherds!

Ok, so Inglourious Basterds was one of fordshepherd ’s and my favorite films from last year. I think I personally saw it 4 times in the theaters. Well, nerfcoyote knew that Ford was a big fan of the film and came up with the alternate title of “Inglourious Shepherds” to poke fun at his shepherd antics. I thought this was a great idea for a piece of gift art, so when Yippie was out in Columbus for Thanksgiving, I checked with him to see if I could use his character Baron as part of an “Inglourious Shepherds” movie poster.  He thought it was a great idea, so I went about the process to get it commissioned.

I really wanted chibi_marrow  to do the picture because I thought her style would be perfect for it. At the time I first inquired, she was in the middle of the 100 sketch challenge as well as a busy life schedule, so she informed me it would be some time before she could take it on. Since I really wanted her to do the pic, I didn’t mind waiting and we touched base again at FWA this year to make it happen. I’m really glad that I waited as she did such a fantastic job!
