Thursday is 9/9/9, or 09/09/09, otherwise known as Tri-Nine Day. On this day, which happens once a century, tradition says that everyone choose three actions and perform them nine times each. Eat nine candy bars, check the door lock nine times before you leave for work, and make nine rude gestures at a stranger, for instance.
