high spirits
Ayuh, the boys are in high spirits tonight. The sorting of the laundry basket full of clean underwear was full of hysterical laughter, "trench helmets", and "Sock Ninjas".
Later, 7yo put together a play for me, re-enacting various scenes from the movie Totoro. 10yo watched the play with me, after constructing Grandstand Seating for us to watch from. We got to watch a Tree Reenactment, the hopping of the Spirits with Umbrellas, and a Flight of the Loaded Totoro. Mai was represented by a loon. Most of the other characters were dogs.
