Lesser Quality Icons
1 - The 2nd icon seems really blury and the coloring on both icons is a bit dull
1 - reason: great cropping but the coloring makes it look a little hazy
1- the first is sharpened just right while the second looks a little blurry
4 - cropping are not particularly flattering and the icons seem a little blurry
4 - the text and rob dominates the first icon. the contrast of the 2nd icon is distracting in that the elbow draws the most attnetion and the darkness of the guitar means its shape is lost. it is difficult at first to figure out what the guitar is and the red sticker sticks out.
Favorite icons:
2 - nice colouring and focusing on Rob
2 - the icons work well together or individually . the coloring of the background is interesting but doesn't overpower rob's image and he is still the center of attention. the color of his shirt coordinates well with the coloring of the background, complementing each other.
3 - Good coloring and use of blocking on the 1st one. B&W works well with the 2nd picture
3 - reason: great coloring and the cropping on the first icon is beautiful
3- the use of black and white on the second is a nice touch and the repetition on the first is creative
