Lesser Quality Icons
red - again, nice coloring, but the crop itself is just not dynamic. The composition is flat and needs more "pop". Saturation might be good to use here.
orange - because of how washed out his face is, the coloring seems more yellow than orange and the spot is distracting.
orange - the white spot is distracting from the rest of the icon. the beige background blends with the skin-tones and the icon appears to be in two sections: neutral top and orange bottom, with no real focus on rob.
orange - the icon is a little too bright and lacks of contrast
yellow - subject needs to be sharpened a bit so it doesnt fade into the background/texture
yellow - The coloring itself is nice, but the edge is too blurry to fit the crispness of the crop itself.
yellow - i get it's supposed to evoke yellow but it's a little too saturated
yellow - it's sharpened well but the color is not flattering
blue - the sub-focus areas (face crop, tie crop) are good but create imbalance in the icon. the top blue line of the center image is harsh against the 2 sub-focus areas and perhaps would work better if blended or the sub-focus areas were rearranged in another way.

violet - the crop in nice but the colouring is a little less evident than in the other icons
violet - grainy background
Favorite icons:
red - the blur int he background is a good contrast
green - although the text isn't completely legible (blocked by rob's figure) it's a good thing that it doesn't overpower him as the central figure. the gradient of the green brings the eye's attention down toward him and the light green up top balances with the darker shade of his shirt. the font having a gradient of its own is also a nice touch.
green - the green gradient texture and text nicely attract the focus to rob's face
green - great colouring and creativity
green - The composition, crop, slight sharp contrast... everything about this icon is excellently executed.
violet - great use of texture
