drama festival was really fun.
lots of really friendly and fun people, free panda bears, and plenty of really interesting and hilarious plays.

i won an award for my acting in the play.
it's pretty cool. not that i'm ungrateful, but i guess the award doesn't mean as much to me as it does to others. it's nice, but it isn't like my acting was the fruit of effort; i guess i'm just an alright actor by nature.
and i feel bad that i get an award and almost none of the rest of the cast doesn't; that's what bugs me.
i wish i could give my award to someone who it would mean a lot to.
people seem quick to judge.
i say, let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
we're always so busy sitting in our caves, staring at the shadows on the wall. and when someone leaves the cave and sees the light, he cannot return and convince his fellow men of the light, because there are no words to express what he saw. language is based on experience; many times there are not words for things we are unaccustomed to.
plato's allegory is a really interesting metaphor.
hung out at tristan's today, got some subs from subway, watched The Aristocrats. it was funny how his sister's boyfriend's reacted to the movie; interesting to see how normal people react to things, lol.
