What's with my driving lately?
I honestly feel like I'm missing something. Maybe it's the radar detector that I used to have in the Jag. First the tire incident, and now a speeding ticket tonight. Yep, Batman got caught because he was doing 70 in a 45 zone and not paying attention to the sideroads. I didn't have a chance to outrun the squad car (I'm gonna get rid of this sorry 4-cylinder soon) so I just shrugged it off and pulled over. Was sort of out of it for the remainder of the night, but oh well, what's done is done. Oh, and no worries, until I get pulled over twice in the same day, I'm not going to stop speeding. This 183 dollar ticket took a nice chunk of my latest paycheck, but I've got a new plan so I'm not worried. I'll still be able to afford the knife, so in the range of the next 2 weeks, that's what's important. I'm going to call DMV and see what exactly a driving class will do for my insurance (I'm not sure how much it raises/lowers depending on the points on my license - if the points on my license only affect how long until my license is taken away, I'll leave 'em there, I'm only going to take the class if it will lower my insurance rate).
I've been thinking too small lately. It's time to go through with some older ideas of mine and see how they play out. I think the next couple of months will be a lot more fun.
