(no subject)
So I have gone the way of everyone else & have pretty much abandoned LJ, for myspace. Whatever. Here is what has gone down since we last talked:
JULY 15: Duk Duk Dayz & lots of heat. Not that kind of heat either, as it was hot as hell outside for this show add in the fact that I'm wearing the black & white stripes, its even hotter. After the show me & Punisher head down to the Twins game. We win, so yeah.
AUGUST 4: NIW returns to Crystal for night one of The Road to Immortality weekend. Good show, & hung out with good people after wards. I end up in St. Cloud on this night.
AUGUST 5: NIW returns to "Studio 54" in Amery, WI. for the 2nd night of the Road To Immortality weekend. Show was good, after party was better. Many a drinks & wild times were had.
AUGUST 19: Me & Pun once again head down to the Metrodome to see the Twins. We lose, & we are angry.
AUGUST 25: ROH returns to MN after 2+ years away. I loved the show, some didn't tough shit.
AUGUST 28: Make my return to "MPW FAUX". Bad show, I cant think of a whole lot positive to say about it. Big Bad Booty Daddy is a FAGGOT, thats for sure.
AUGUST 29: Me & Pun once again make the treck to the cities to watch the Twins. We lose, again. It must be something in the water.
SEPTEMBER 1: Me & Ryan Cruz spend the day hanging out. If you get the chance, spend time with the kid. He's good people. NIW back in Crystal on this night. Jerry Lynn is in town, so thats a plus. Darin Corbin picks up arguably his biggest win, over Jerry Lynn. Proud of him, as he has improved TONS over the last year. Food & sleep was had.
SEPTEMBER 2: A strom was a brewing, or thats the feeling it felt like on this day. Some stuff goes down before the show, that put the boys, or at least some of them, in a somber mood. Jerry Lynn vs. Arik Cannon on this night. Jerry picks up the win, but it be a good match. Great times were had, even with all the crap that went down before hand.
RANDOM THOUGHTS:
- Ricky Reed has become a really good ref over the past few months.
- Andrew was/is the hardest working man in MN wrestling, behind the scenes.
- NIW has/had the best after parties. PERIOD!
Onto more pressing matters, I return to reffing on Saturday September 30th, as I return to 3XW down in Iowa. Been a good while since I was last down there. Should be a good time for sure.
Northstar Premier Wrestling has a HUGE show lined up this weekend @ the house that SDW built, the West St. Paul Armory. Check out www. northstapremierwrestling.com for that info. One last thing, Arik Cannon vs. John Johnson, a match some people NEVER thought we would see, is going down this weekend. I have a gut feeling Cannon, will win this one.
