how serendipity should have ended:

Ok I get it. Fate is the force that brings lovers together. It lingers behind us and looms around every turn. We can't escape it, and why should we? Apparently it's only intention is to set up gorgeous couples with each other so they can live happily ever after. Ok i love John Cusack. Trust me I'm as big a fan as one can get without being creepy. That's so disgusting to say- are we just supposed to go around and fall in love with whoever happens to catch our hearts flittering? In that case we're no better than animals who know no such thing as love. True love isn't dependent on emotions and trite things like elusive happiness. It is the most unselfish act someone can have. I think John truly loved Halley, but he allowed his lust for kate to sour that love and in doing so he totally and completely disqualified his love. why was kate so blind? she had a better reason to call things off with her fiance than john, but in the end she's still a victim and I dont see her as achieving love. Just being a relationship wrecker. I see john as being weak-willed. And now his love is meaningless- because who's to say he wont discover someone else and leave kate now? then what? once a cheater always a cheater? this is a problem with today's culture- we are so fixed on finding our ultimate mate that we keep trading up and killing off precious feelings in search of the perfect someone. i still say death to kate. heck death to john too. Halley is my true hero. heartbroken and lost she will find the strength to say screw you to men like John and achieve true happiness eventually.

thats what i meant to say...but umm...its early and i didn't feel like typing so much??

your right, john shouldn't have just left Halley for Kate just because they had a moment he wanted to relive. BUT if he truly loved Halley, Kate would have never been an issue. he obviously didn't have strong enough feelings for Halley to make the commitment...in the end its not about Kate or Halley, but about Johns own insecurities about marriage. Halley was ready, he was not. Halley is better off...and so is John, they would have never been a successful married couple, if john was capable of throwing away a long term committed relationship so easily. thats why i say he's better off with Kate, because he would have cheated on his wife anyway...might as well save the money they would have spent on divorce lawyers and counselors, and never have gotten married. that way when he does go with Kate, and it doesn't work out...hopefully he would have realized the fullish mistake he made, grown from the entire ordeal, and find someone who is ready for the commitment just as he is.

....but then again, maybe my opinion is a little skewed because i myself have never been in love and don't know what i would do in that situation....or maybe i have a hate towards men, because they themselves don't pay any attention to me and the ones who do seem to be unavailable....bastards! okay...that was a bit of a rant, my apologize for making you read that...

you obviously get what i mean right??

LOL- so we agree. good. lol. yea im sick of people glorifying irrational behavior. and hey if i were you i'd be thankful for the nonexistence of male attention (read distraction). because let's face it our age group is a sea of lost youth trying to find redemption through a torrent of sex drugs and apathy. I thank god I'm not a part of that culture- it leaves so much more room for the things that are truly important like art and helping people and finishing school. and PS- SHUT UP you dont get to be emo anymore remember? its better to not awaken any of that love crap until things fall into place in other areas of life. besides i'd rather have a great time with friends who dont demand so much from you you know? we're loners remember- we like to pick up and say whatever to the rest every now and then.

lol..yeah, Winston likes to eat the soap too...i think they put something in it. before all my dalmatians decided to run away, my sister and i use to do stages of bathing them...i would do the first wash and then she would do the second. they didnt sleep inside so they would get extra dirty.
but winstons small enough that we could wash him inside, except my mom had just cleaned the tub and my sister really wanted to wash him outside.

he's a funny pup...i cant help but love the silly ol pup. :)
