I was in Random Play Records the other day, talking to my friend Ryan who works there. We got into a bit of a discussion about dancing, and nightclubs, and I found it extremely funny when Ryan put up his hands in the universal "Okay, everyone be quiet here a second" motion, and proclaimed "first of all, dancing is stupid. second of all, dancing is really stupid. thirdly, dance music is stupid." I'd be lying if I said that I hadn't been caught dancing to Outkast or Britney Spears in the past, but I decided to make a compilation of my personal favorite "non-dance-music-dance-songs". You've got punk, indie, rock, metal, hardcore, and electronic on here, and if you're looking for something funky to get you moving, check these songs out.
