(no subject)
Just got a call from My Soldier's Mom. (Ok, I'll share--Our Josh's Mom.) He's safely back in Alaska! I have a phone number for him that should work through Monday, post if you need it. Apparently they don't have enough space on base for returning soldiers, so he and a couple of guys are sharing a room in a hotel. He hasn't got the intarweb yet but hopes to be back on base soon. My phone is disconnected so I'm going to have to borrow one for the evening to call him when I get out of work. Any one got free time after 9:30 and a warm dry place? I've got a phone card. Squeeeeeeeeee!
I don't think I can afford to go visit him with his family in January, but I'm hoping to manage it later either on my own or with The Boy? I don't know, wishful thinking I suppose.
