it's aliiiiiveee
❧ It's been like what...a month since I last updated? Life as been so busy, but I kind of embrace it right now. I've been trying to work as much as possible because I really need money, bills are getting more expensive (my fricken car insurance went up for no reason), and with two major trips coming up I need all I can get. I'm thinking of selling stuff?
❧ Which leads into; YOU GUYSSS, I BOUGHT MY PLANE TICKET TO SOUTH KOREA.
Well, I bought it a couple weeks ago, but I haven't shared the news on here yet. I am flying out on September 14th and meeting kehleejay at the Incheon airport in Seoul, where we will be frolicking about happily for two months. 8D I am excited and nervous, but it's going to be the best time of my life so far. I'm so ready for the experience. I'm really hope the trip improves my Korean. I can read it fine (and write it pretty okay, except trying to figure out the correct sounds is frustrating), and semi understand what is going on, but my conversation skills are so lacking. I need to train my ears, because it takes time to comprehend what is being said sometimes. Although, at the zoo yesterday I totally understood a couple when they were talking, and it excited me to no end.
❧ As I just mentioned, I went to the zoo with renichifreak yesterday! I haven't been since I went to the zoo in LA, and omfg I srsly love zoos (and aquariums). They let us interact with an elephant~ ;~; I about died from happiness.
The elephant was so sweet, idek. She kept coming at me with her trunk, it was so cute. xD I feel bad that she is stuck there in that small area (though, they are building a new and bigger area for them thankfully). Still though, she seemed happy at all the interaction. Especially when you pet her ears~ >3 so. damn. cute.
I wish I had brought my camera, but my phone worked just fine;
The penguins were pretty hilarious, and loved showing off;
This one kind of reminded me of our morning huddles at work, the penguin screeching away while everyone else ignores said penguin. >.>

❧ After the zoo was dinner at 비원 in Syracuse, which is a family owned Korean restaurant attached to a little Korean market store right next door. The family is so nice, and I love going there. The food was amazing as expected, though pricey. I spent more than I wanted to, and the 소주 was $12 a bottle. |: I know they import it, but REALLY.
