Jack's Mannequin show: 4-21-07
So, April 21st was the Jack's Mannequin show at SUNY Geneseo...and it was:
f a n f u c k i n g t a s t i c.
(and totally sold out...and according to Andrew there were a few thousand there?)
So after a thousand years of waiting they let us in the venue at 7:45. And since we were there at freaking 11:30am we were front row.Treaty of Paris came on first, and they were rather good. Then Augustana came on<3 They are so great...a little boring live...but great anyway. I was excited to see them...yes yes.
Then Jack's finally came on...and yueujybakjc just yay. I haven't seen Andrew on stage in about 4 years...so this was just perfect. He is just so inspiring, with the whole cancer thing and whatnot.
Anyway, they played all their songs off of Everything in Transit...and no I don't remember the order...but I can tell you that they opened with Bruised and ended with MFEO. They played a song not on their album....AND and and and they played a SoCo song!jhabsjkcbjabjashbjvhkjsjdvh. And my favorite...Me and the Moon. My heart leapt when he was all "here's an oldie but a goodie" and started playing it. I miss Something Corporate<3
And yes...someone yelled out "Konstantine!" and pretty much every single head turned and looked at that person. :|
I took a few pictures with my cell phone...
and we were bored while waiting for Jack's to come on...so...
(that's Kate, Annie (who we met in line), Lenny (who is pretty much at every show in upstate NY), and I...Lenny is totally eating Annie's head.)
It was an amazing show/night. And everyone in line signed a huge banner for the victims of the Virginia Tech shooting. Which I thought was pretty amazing.
