[TML] = Christian?

"We've debated this topic over and over:
Can we consider ourselves a Christian band?
Can we go along that path?

It's time that I set this straight.

From this point on, we will NOT consider ourselves Christian.
For it takes all members to be practicing Christians to be an official Christian group (In my opinion). There's only one Christian in our band: Chris (Bass).

As for me, I do have my own set of beliefs and values. They are not exactly Christian, though. I do have a strong sense of faith. I do believe in a higher power. Not necessarily the God portrayed in the Holy Bible, but something that represents that almighty power nontheless. I will not delve into details about the specifics of my beliefs and reasoning; that you will come to know over a period of time. But as you may notice: there is no cursing or profanity whatsoever in my lyrics. I feel it's time to portray that image on stage as well. As of now, there can be a bit of religious hints and whatnot in the songs we have posted. But I am just saying that you are welcome to percieve it the way you wish. I do not mind if you take it in a Christian mindset, or apply it to your beliefs in any way, shape, or form. You are all more than welcome to. I actually encourage it. For most of my influences as a vocalist and lyricist come from Christian bands such as Norma Jean, The Chariot, Zao(old), August Burns Red, mewithoutYou, and UnderOATH.

As my spirituality and faith grows: so will my lyrics, themes, and mannerism.

Thank you all for supporting us, and thanks for reading this.

Sincerely,

Bard of [TML]"
