Glass Onion

So yesterday was one of those great days that you have when you totally don't expect it. I started off on the right foot that morning, woke up, went upstairs to get some water and yogurt, came back down here, put on my Wake and Bake playlist, and smoked a blunt. After that i just kinda sat around for a few hours and listened to music, figuring i'd spend the day sitting around doing nothing and getting stoned by myself, which didn't sound half bad. Then I talked to dave, and he came over for a while and we watched some office space and some futurama and smoked a really really tasty coconut/chocolate blunt i had rolled. Then it was upstairs to make mac and cheese and watch the rainstorm. After that we came back down here and sat on my bed smokin another blunt with the beatles on and the window open listening to the rain outside. There's just something very special about smoking to the beatles when its raining out. It always gives you the same high, and there is no other feeling like it. That was the part of the day that just put me in such a fucking awesome mood. After that we went over to the cube in the rain, and chilled there with dan and amy and colleen and mike i beleive his name is. Then we all went to their friend Shawn's and chilled on his porch bullshitting and drinking, lookin at the moon. Then I went home and slept for an hour or so, and then i was off to Dan's house to chill and smoke a bowl. That was fun just sitting on his front porch all night and watching the sunrise. The moon was absolutely amazing as i was driving home. It was like this huge harvest moon that was blue and grey and pink reflecting the sunset and the clouds. I ended my day at 7am staring at the sky. Definitely fun stuff.

Anyhow, on this beatles kick, I found a new love for a beatles song. don't know why, but i did.

I told you about strawberry fields
You know the place where nothing is real
Well here’s another place you can go
Where everything flows
Looking through the bent backed tulips
To see how the other half live
Looking through a glass onion

I told you about the walrus and me - man
You know that we’re as close as can be - man
Well here’s another clue for you all
The walrus was paul
Standing on the cast iron shore - yeah
Lady madonna trying to make ends meet - yeah
Looking through a glass onion

Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
Looking trough a glass onion

I told you about the fool on the hill
I tell you man he living there still
Well here’s another place you can be
Listen to me
Fixing a hole in the ocean
Trying to make a dove-tail joint - yeah
Looking through a glass onion

Gotta love that. Also been into Mucky Fingers a lot lately too, at first i hated that song, but now it's startin to really grow on me.
