So summer is leaving us, and I'm all for it. It sucks that everyone is going back to school and getting busy and shit, but as far as the weather is concerned, I've had more than enough. This summer was mostly filled with disgustingly high temps with equally high humidity, followed by pathetic cloudy days with more hot humid rain storms just enough to get everything wet but not enough to cool anything down. We only had 1 good thunderstorm, and even that was pretty sad, I didn't lose power once this summer. Autumn is almost here, and I can't wait. That magical time when all the leaves turn and the air is crisp and cool, but the sun still shines. Nights are clear and beautiful, and holloween comes around. Thank the fuck christ for holloween. The only holiday I have any spirit for, besides 420. Kids get to dress up as whatever they feel like it, stay up past their bedtimes and run around their neighboorhoods collecting free candy in pillow sacks. I just find something magical about holloween, and I don't ever want that holloween spirit to ever leave me. On that note, i'm off to bed.
