1. Hot chocolate or apple cider?
Hot chocolate. But only with milk. It tastes like crap with water.
2. Turkey or Ham?
I can only take ham in very small amounts, but I do love turkey. I wish I could have it more than once a year.
3. Do you get a Fake or Real cut it yourself christmas tree?
Because I'm never at my own place during Christmas, I don't actually get to decorate, but if I did, I would most definitely have a fake tree. I don't care if they do come from tree farms, I just don't think it's right to kill a tree for decorative purposes.
4. Decorations on the outside of your house?
I might if I had a house (or didn't live on the 4th floor.
5. Snowball fights or sledding?
Snowball fight. The very last time I went sledding the hill was all ice and I ended up bruising my tailbone and I've never wanted to go again.
6. Do you like hanging around the fireplace because it's warm?
I actually do have access to a fireplace during Christmas, so yes, I like to hang around it when I'm cold.
7. Do you enjoy going downtown shopping?
I guess as long as it's not too cold.
8. Favorite Christmas song?
Merry Christmas (War Is Over) by John Lennon. It's not very Christmasy, I know, but it's the only one I like enough to have on my iPod.
10. How do you feel about Christmas movies?
I've actually never been a fan of animated Christmas movies, but I do like the live action ones that I grew up watching in the 80's like NL's Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story and One Magic Christmas .
11. When is it too early to start listening to Christmas music?
Anytime before the last week of November.
12. Stockings before or after presents?
Umm... Before, kind of. I do three separate present opening dealies, but I only have a stocking at Nat's parents house and I don't open those presents until Christmas day night. Blah. That was harder to explain than I thought.
13. Carolers, do you or do you not listen to them?
I have never had any come to my door.
14. Go to someone elses house or they come to you?
We're always the ones doing the visiting.
15. Do you read the Christmas Story "The Night Before Christmas?"
Nope.
16. What do you do after presents and dinner?
More presents (see #12).
17. What is your favorite holiday smell?
I'm not sure that I have one.
18. Ice skating or walking around the mall?
I'll say ice skating. I haven't done it since the sixth grade, but I've kind of been wanting to try it again. Besides, I hate going to the mall at Christmas. It's so crowded and the heat always seems to be jacked up, but it's winter and you have no choice but to wear your winter coat there.
19. Favorite Christmas memory?
Just little holiday traditions from my childhood.
20. Favorite Part about Christmas?
Spending time with family and friends. Presents are nice too, though.
21. Ever been kissed under mistletoe?
No. What's up with that?
