This is PETAful.
So, it's been a few days since I've last updated. Not much new is happening in my life, but I thought I'd write anyway.
Sunday Nat and I went to Le Bifteque for dinner with Dave, Jenny, Mike, and Ponytail Paul. I believe we all had a good time and enjoyed having people to spend the holiday with. It's nice to have a surrogate family in your friends. Especially when you are away from "home". Still, turkey dinner at my Grandma's house would have been really nice too.
Okay, although I am not a vegetarian, I usually support PETA. But right now they're not exactly in my good books. They want to change Hamburg NY to Veggieburger NY. This is actually kind of funny (it will never happen) and it's free advertising for them. That's not what bothered me though. They also have billboards with an ad saying something along the lines of "Feeding your kids beef is child abuse". This made me so angry. That ad was a huge waste of money for them. Bullying never works and I think it's just a blatant lie. The kid eating the burger in the ad was over-weight, basically saying that non-veggies are all fat and unhealthy. I don't find this to be true at all and I know of plenty of vegetarians who are over-weight too. To me, this is false advertising, and it gives me second thoughts about buying into any of the other stuff they say.
