Sometimes, Lisa lingers in the shower. The SDF-1's recycling system manages to reclaim over 99.7% of the water used onboard, so she can afford to indulge herself just a bit.
She crosses her arms across her chest, pretending that it's Karl holding her. Gently, one hand slips down, into the damp nest of curls. Karl never touched her like this. He never got the chance -- even if her father had given them the opportunity, Karl wouldn't have taken the risk.
So all she has is her imagination, and the shower to hide the hot, wet tears on her cheeks.
