Hello, welcome to our second writer's check in! We're nearing the end of our writing period, and very soon it will be artist claims day

The bot doesn’t move at first, although it must see the threat approaching - then starts backing away, grip still firm on Tony’s arm, dragging his body further into the workshop

Hehehee, this is possible the "clunkiest" and most awkward fic I've ever written (my fault, trying to write from JARVIS' pov...). It will, however, proudly feature one AI, two bots, and two armors :D And one mostly-unconscious genius...
Username: taichara Fandom: Original Work Word Count: 7005 so far Snippet? (optional, but encouraged!):
At first, as the light crept across the dull grey of his worn and pitted plating, Satevis had done his best to ignore the growing sensation that his years of solitude were at an end. He had never been a diviner, not like some of the others; he was not inclined to read into anything he could not sense from an aura or an energy field.
And yet, and yet ...
Something has shifted. I can't say what, but it has. Something I am not about to enjoy.
A bitter and disgruntled thought, unsuited for the soft serenity spread out before him; but Satevis felt the sharp tang in his awareness like a wayward spark and had not a shred of regret for the shift in his temper.
... Feh. All I asked of the Thirty was that I was left to spend the rest of my years keeping myself to myself. They could find themselves another survivor, another hero.
Username: bellacatbee Fandom: Supernatural Word Count: 5322 (at least it's better than the 0 of the last check-in!) Snippet? (optional, but encouraged!): The box arrived exactly seven days after Gabriel’s phone call. Castiel admired his attention to detail. He tipped the deliveryman and was left with the large cardboard box that was taller than he was propped up in the middle of his living room. There was an envelope attached to the front of the box. Castiel grabbed it and ripped it open. Inside was a note from his brother.
‘Cas,’ the note started, in Gabriel’s childishly big scrawl. “This is Dean. He’s a new model droid, built to your specifications. Read his instructions! I don’t want to have him back for repairs!’
