It has come to my attention that some of my writing in this blog is not very “accessible;” meaning that I use a lot of jargon, and philosophical or outdated terminology. This is for several reasons. Firstly, I only have a limited amount of time to write on here as I am a busy student; so, I often rush through writing my entries. Secondly, again, I often write for myself as it helps me better grasp and critique both the concepts I am writing about and my own writing. And thirdly, although not finally, I expect that most people who are looking at this blog are looking at it because the have basic literacy skills so must be able to read. If someone can read what I am writing they can then read a dictionary, wiki, or etc. and must be internet savvy. I encourage all my friends to actively engage in discourse, theory, philosophy, or life in general. So please don't be passive; accessibility is only an issue for those who have barriers, whatever they may be (physical, mental, economic, political etc.) to something, and I am sure for most of us privileged folk accessibility will never be an issue.
