Submitted this to ocremix.org tonight...will take up to a month for it to be judged and accepted or rejected.
Its basically a hybridized reinterpretation/rearrangement of the Mt. Gagazet music from Final Fantasy X, plus a bit of a Chrono Trigger theme spliced in. I'm pleased with it, though now I see some faults, but whatever. We'll see what the OCRemix guys say when they critique it.
Not much going on but music and art:
Learning this digital painting stuff, working on my music production, etc. Maybe its a diversion from doing what I need to do, like finding a job already and getting back to school. It probably is, but my spirit, if you will, needs it right now.
Need some love. Nothing going on there at the moment (well...not really, anyway...or not yet, or something.)
Gonna see Spidey2 tomorrow with Lee and Emily and some people I guess.
Right now I'm jamming to a song by my buddy Sam from TEH OPEAR. He's a crazy Australian bastard who happens to be a brilliant fledgling musician, and hes apparently hooked up with some awesome people to form a band. They're called a Lonely Street in Prague, and its like hard rock riffs played on acoustic guitars, with beautiful flowing bass and ethnic percussion...think APC meets ethnic world music. Really really pretty, intense stuff. I haven't heard anything with their singer yet, but supposedly he's amazing. If anybody wants to hear this song, let me know.
I guess thats it. 5am. Time to sleep.
