Multnomah county has declared a state of emergency because of all the snow and bad road conditions.It may not seem like a lot of snow to people in other snowier parts of the country but it is a record for pdx.This city is not set up for snow.No plows are clearing my little street.I had a hard time getting home even with chains on saturday night.On sunday we almost got stuck even in Ross's big diesel truck with chains on. I hope I can get off work tomorrow.

Ross and I went to play in the snow in our backyard today.The cats wisely stayed inside in the warm by the stove.
