Leaving for Turkey tomorrow....
Hey everyone (everyone being all the FIVE people who actually read this...)
On July 7th, at 1 p.m., this little Turk is leavin' on a jet plane... and won't be back for five weeks. Now, I've been kind of depressed about this, considering that's a HUGE chunk of summer spend on something I'd rather only do for three weeks. However, after a lot of negative thinking, I've realized that I'm excited to go, even if it is five weeks. It's a chance to live a month in a foreign country. Plus, I had a lot of fun last year, even if I felt miserable some of the time... Basically, my house there is absolutely gorgeous, the food is incredible, and the shopping is cheap. Plus, that's five weeks where I can catch up on my summer reading. I've only started my choice book! Ack!!!!!!
