a Partition for the Grindhouse.
Oh my gosh, Partition, LOL. Everything about this movie is so wrong. I already told Neil but I'll say it again here. All of the East Indian people in this movie have super light skin to have a more euro look to them because the star of the movie (Kristin Kreuk) is NOT East Indian (but she plays one in the movie). I'm going to go out on a limb and say that she is 1/8th East Indian. Her accent was just silly, almost an insulting impression that springs a certian "apu" like visual into the viewers head. Sadly even Nev Cambells seemingly less difficult potrayal of a British woman sounds off and fake. If you want to see and extremely serious, important movie that looks like it was produced by 8th graders, you gotta check out Partition.
On an unrelated note I watched the first half of Grindhouse last night, i think it was called "Terror World" or something to that effect, it was actually really good. I mean yeah she has a machine gun for a leg but she knows how to use it, lol.
