Post of a more serious nature
I found out this evening that Dad isn't doing well at all. He's too run down and dehydrated to continue with chemotherapy, and without it his doctor gives him another six to eight weeks. They're trying to build his strength back up for chemo with IV hydration this week and next. My sister said she'd keep me posted as to when I should come home. When, not if. I'm glad I got to see him and introduce him to his grandson in February; I just hope we can get back there in time. (Actually I hope the doctor is totally wrong and Dad is doing much better. I'm pretty sure we can visit; hoping is for more unlikely stuff.)
