First Entry
Hey! So, ok, this is my first journal entry, and I'm not exactly sure what all to write here. Um, today's Sunday, so all I did was hang out at home. I read, played crib with my dad (he beat me twice), hung around on Kelley Armstrong's blog/website, read Richelle Mead's blog, and read a little more. Pretty much a typical Sunday. Yesterday, we were supposed to go to the city, but it got cancled because of all the rain.
What's really on my mind right now is Derek's story. Derek is a character in Kelley Armstrong's "The Darkest Powers" trilogy. The fisrt book is the only one out at the moment, but the second will be out soon! (Yay!) Anyway, Derek is my favorite character, even though he is not actually the main character, the books are in first person, besed on Chloe's point of view. Derek's sixteen, very tall and muscualr, has acne, gresy hair, and is a werewolf. He can also be a bit of a jerk at times, but who can blame him with all that is going on with his life? To top it all off, he lived in, well I guess you could say a lab, until he was five years old and was unofficially adopted by his friend, Simon's dad. That's all I'm going to say about it because for those of you who havn't read the book before, I don't want to spoil it. (The first book in the trilogy is called "The Summoning" and doesn't tell us much about Derek and Simon's life before Chloe came into the picture, but Kelley Armstrong has a blog here on LiveJournal, and she is posting a new chapter of their story on the fifteenth and thirty-first of every month. It's called "Dangerous").
Well, I've got to go for now, I have to shower, and then I have some last-minute homework to finish (math and science - my two worst subjects. Yayyy...)
