Prom Tomorrow! :)

Prom is tomorrow and I'm still not all that excited about it. I think the biggest reason for that it the BEZ thing. I'd really rather not go with him, I still haven't even talked to him in school. I'm actually regretting saying yes to him when he asked me to go to the dance. *Sigh* If only someone else had asked me before he did. Not necessarily ( Read more... )

Yeah, prom last night did not go so well as far as BEZ was concerned. First of all, it was veerry awkward. Second, every time I tried to talk to him, all I got was one word answers. I mean, there's nervous, and then there's nervous. As in the not good kind of nervous. And the was the second kind of nervous. I didn't have all that much fun, which would explain why I pretty much ignored him most of the night, other that the slow dances, we barley hung out. I mean, I'm sorry I didn't hang out with him, but I'd rather have fun with my friends then sit around being bored all night.
But, sadly, I must have done something to make him think that I liked him, because at the end of the night he got his friend to give me a note asking me out. I answered him today at lunch. No. Well, I wasn't that mean about it, but I still said no.

And, yeah, the time capsule thing is actually a lot of fun, even if it is in French! (And, French isn't actually all that hard to learn, it's mostly just the verbs that are confusing. I went into grade seven French knowing nothing, and it only took me a few months to catch up!)
I've never seen Knowing, but I actually think that the project reminds me of this TV show, Bones, that I watch. In the episode, a class open their time capsule 20 years later and find a body inside. I hope that doesn't happen to ours! But then again, I don't know if we're actually gonna bury it or not...

Oh wow. I'm sorry to hear that. Nah, you did the right thing. You deserved to have fun and enjoy the night! That was his chance to step up, you know, make his move or whatever, and he didn't. He could have at least tried to keep a conversation going. Not your fault. And I mean, really, a guy who can't even give you the note himself...well, you're probably better off.

I might attempt to learn French someday. I've always found it to be a very pretty-sounding language (if that makes sense).

Ooh, I've heard of Bones. Never seen it but my friends who have say it's good. Hah! Scary. I hope it doesn't too. If you end up burying it, that is.

I did deserve to have fun, and I did, for the most part. And, yeah, I'm better off. I mean, notes are soo fifth grade, he couldn't even get his friend to ask for him, he had to ask through a note. But whatever. I don't really care.
I get what you mean. I guess that's why it's called the language of love, cause it's pretty sounding. Well, it is as long as you actually know how to speak it. lol
Bones is good! Though I kinda missed the last half of the fourth season... I hope we bury it, it would be a lot of fun! Plus we'd probably end up missing class! :P I just don't want to find any bodies later on!
