Cute Story
I just got done pulling a 15 hour shift at FIRST.
Ugh.
I haven't done that since high school!
More on that tomorrow, after the robot ships. For now, I have a cute Jake story.
Jake was gone at a conference downstate all weekend. He got back into town at about 4 yesterday, went back to his room to take a shower and then came right over here. I'd made dinner for us (chicken with white wine and mushroom sauce, garlic green beans, french bread with dipping sauce ... the whole works!) and was waiting for him to come over to eat. He got here, realized he left his laptop powercord downstate and went back to the dorms to souble check and make sure no one else from his group had it. After about an hour, he came back all bummed, and we ate dinner (which - I must say - we delicious!)
Since he couldn't do any work on his laptop, we played a few game of Set and went to lie down, play DS, and cuddle for a bit. Well, we both fell asleep at about 8:00. An hour later I woke up and woke Jake up ... he managed to get up and get his contacts out, then it was back to bed. I had to stay up until 11 to take my medicine, so I played on the computer til then. At 11, I took my meds and laid in bed with my DS and played a few races in MarioKart. As soon as I set the DS down and turned off the little lamp by my nightstand, Jake rolled over, put his arms around me and gave me a huge hug. After a few minutes he said, "I love you". Awwww. =) The cute part was ... he was totally asleep when he did it and didn't remember doing it this morning.
It was adorable.
And I am so in love with this boy, it's ridiculous.
