Ahh..... 9/11................. Pretty sure a good number of U.S. Government officials were in on that too....
And..... Katrina?.......... Maybe coulda sorta turned out better if U.S. Government officials mobilized FEMA a little sooner? Oh, and fund them.

Fine examples of the wheels falling off the State Bus and causing national chaos, but we're not talking about Government-based threats to the public here. It's Terrorists we're after.

Here's a thought. STOP TRAINING THEM. Alternatively:

1. Stop occupying sovereign countries and establishing military bases on foreign soil. No occupation = No 'resistance'.
2. Stop sponsoring Governments like Israel's who continue proliferation of arms and nuclear weapons.
3. Stop stunting the economies of third world countries through World Bank and IMF lending schemes so the local population doesn't feel quite so shat on that they have to turn to extremism to be heard.

If this brand of fear mongering conservatism, control and corruption ever even comes close to Australia, I'm moving to Venezuela...... If they haven't been invaded by then. Or if Chavez gets shot. Or if the U.S. goes bust and white collars set up shop in Latin America......
