hey hey! i'm baaack!!! martha's vineyard was ROCKING. no sighting of bill clinton though. but apparently jill's whole family has met them. pretty awesome. its really nice there though, the beaches are not ice cold and there is no fee for parking. THE WAVES WERE CRAAAZZZY THOUGH! oh man, we got TOSSED AROUND.
the best part though was seeing jill and monica. i'm excited about next year. i feel like there is a lot more i want to do at home, but next year will be fun. the caf food though. x.x but we got to watch fresh prince and dr. phil!! w00t! and we shopped in crazy hippie stores and looked at expensive sustainable fiber shirts and odd smelling body oils. i'd rather just smell than wear those oils. most of them just smell so strong and kind of bad. maybe i just don't have good smell receptors, cause no one else ever thinks they smell bad. there really isn't much to do there though (though barrington levy is coming!!). and it takes so much effort and six dollars to get to the mainland.
other highlights:
an old man on the ferry called monica and i "complacent" for not caring about a "overseas intelligence tip" that there might be another september 11th that was mentioned in the 5th page of the globe. what did he wants us to do?!?! be unhappy and scared?!?! and what was he doing on vacation to martha's vineyard if he was so concerned?! he must've been doing a mental survey of people or something, just to get our opinion. cause he kind of slapped his paper to get our attention in the first place. LAME.
the black dog store! and how they sell four square balls for 12 dollars just cause they have the black dog logo on it! and all the ridiculous things that people spill on stuff in stores. and getting a black dog sticker courtesy of jill!

(the song is like "world of music" or something like that), i can't get it to download though, but i heard a sample, so I KNOW ITS IT! i love the damian marley version though. something about it. some parts are just really good. he's no sizzla though, that's for sure! and people get mad at him cause how big he's getting and he's sending out a bad image for jamaica. i guess the video is all pictures of slums and negative images. but at least he's not slamming gays. i think.......
