whoa! livejournal semi-changed their layout!! but anyway, I JUST GOT A DIGITAL CAMERA! so expect some super pictures coming soon. i'm in act!on acton right now for the midterm break. i made a lot of money working and saw all my trumpets at the football game it was GOOD TIMES. bell promised to make me a toe nibbler shirt!! i can't wait!! i just got back from the mall with my family [where i got my digital camera.] i love day trips with my family. they're so much fun cause we get back to the house and it's all dark out. and of course my mom buys me stuff. (: but that's not really the reason cause i usually don't buy anything. i also got AWESOME boots. they're green with pink polka dots. i'm very happy.
and yeah, last tuesday i went to go see RILO KILEY and TILLY AND THE WALL along with "it's overhead"?!?! it was VERY fun. it was like a quest trying to get there though. i went with molly and first we had a nice fall drive up to her mom's house, then had to get the tickets from her dads house, then we came to davis square in time but we had to find a parking spot. so we finally met up with tina and vicky and yang [surprising tina courtesy of vicky!!] and went to the booth to get our tickets and it turns out THEY DIDN'T HAVE THEM!! because ticketmaster sucks. so anyway, we had to buy new tickets and hopefully molly's dad will get redeemed for the ones he bought. but then we had DELICIOUS BURRITOS! best in the world. and then we went to the show to find so many clark kids! along with a few simmons and tufts. and the concert was awesome. i wish however, there was a dance floor, but instead it was just seats [after all it was in a movie theatre.] so anyway, tilly and the wall is adorable and the second band was not very good. they were uber paranoid and their songs were very bland. they had two guitars and you couldn't even hear them! i mean, some of their songs had potential but it was just a really painful set. but rilo kiley made up for it!! they were honestly one of the best live bands i've seen. like up there with the cure. and i could swear jenny lewis was looking straight at me for like 15 seconds, it was odd . . . but they had a triple encor including a song with the girls from tilly and the wall [though they didn't do much.] then i was able to catch a ride back with cool kids from clark when i had thought that i would have to stay over at mollys and take a train back in the morning then somehow find a way back to the train station. but i got lucky!! the end.
but this weekend has almost matched that because it's so nice out and i've got to see everyone. i also got to go to my sister's band show with dino which was SO MUCH FUN! they have a really good show and i want to go to their other show on saturday so i can take a video with my NEW CAMERA!! it's just been a travel back in time, working and marching band. but it was fun nonetheless!!
and i also listened to SkankieMixie for the first time in a LONG TIME. it was VERY enjoyable.
