noodle manners.
Last week, this week, and the first half of next week involve too many tests, jeez louise. Tomorrow I have an oral midterm and then my history midterm, and haven't really prepared for either.. The oral exam is only four minutes of conversation though, so hopefully that'll be alright.
Unfortunately this has been another week of like.. Zero Japanese ability. I'm frustrated and really worried that I haven't improved at all in the past few weeks, yikes. But if I fretting about not speaking enough and being bad, then I agonize myself into the worst nervous state ever and totally can't function at all ha ha. I really need to be more disciplined about avoiding too much English, but I feel a bit jerk-ish saying that I'll try to avoid English-speaking friends. I suck.
Besides more studying than usual, this week has been a little charming. Tonight, we had omurice for dinner and Reina wrote my name (ジョーちゃん, ha ha) on it with the ketchup ha ha, awww. Last night, we spent like ten minutes watching the BOSS coffee drink commericals that feature Tommy Lee Jones, ha ha. PLEASE GO WATCH THEM TOO, they are ridiculous and I absolutely love them. PLEASE. Also, it's a little weird seeing a giant billboard of Tommy Lee Jones with just the text BOSS on it, ha ha.
Go find the rest of the commercials through that user! English subtitles, no excuses please. This is your Japanese culture lesson of the day, buttholes. when yuu and I went to the maid cafe in Akihabara, it was very much like that ah ha ha wow. The waitress definitely made us do the "moe, moe" thing when she served us our beers. めっちゃ恥ずかしかったなぁ。
I need to still get a good photo of my hair! ごめんなさい。 I love having bangs again, not gonna lie. Now I want to go shopping for hairbands and scrunchies and be ridiculous. MWA ha ha, j'adore!!
