Drabbles A Plenty
All 100 words. Mostly DC fandom.
Dick stands by the chair. “Are you reading, Bruce?”
Bruce glances up for a moment and back at his book. “Yes.”
Dick sighs, hops onto the arm rest and leans. “Are you reading?”
Bruce’s lip twitches. “Yes.”
Dick slips into his lap and traces Bruce’s jaw. “You reading?”
Bruce lets out a bit of air that might be a laugh and turns the page of his book. “Yes.”
Dick doesn’t pout and tugs, then throws the book across the room before leaning against Bruce and hovering centimeters from his lips. “Are you reading?”
“No,” Bruce says before kissing him, hard.

“You’re not wearing that.”
Bruce looks so serious, but not at all like Batman that it jars Dick so that all he can respond with is, “Buh?”
“You're wearing a sweater vest, over a button-down shirt of the same color.”
“So?”
“Hm.”
“What?” Dick gives himself a quick glance. “See now I’m paranoid, what’s the unintelligible noise for?”
“I think I’ve discovered it.”
“What? This conversation?” Dick snorts. “Because I’d like to find it too.”
“Your flaw.”
“Sweater vests?”
“No taste.”
Dick frowns at his clothes before glancing up and giving Bruce a low lazy smile. “I wouldn't say that.”

Batman’s gloved hands find purchase in any skin that’s revealed pulling and tugging until the gauntlets reach past protection.
“This costume isn’t well protected enough.”
Batman’s voice is a low rumble by his ear that travels all the way down to his legs and makes him shake.
“Better than little green shorts.”
Batman can’t respond because the rain kicks it up a notch, sending rivulets of moisture down Nightwing’s shoulders, so much so that Batman drops him and Nightwing has to lean over himself so that all the water spills out.
“Okay. Maybe it is time for a new uniform.”
