Pee-wee's Big Adventure
After hearing a couple recommendation I finally downloaded myself a copy of "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" and I have to say, it was well worth the ridiculous two day download wait. This is Tim Burton first full length film and while it share's some signature Burton stop-motion animation and dark humour, it's definitely unlike his other films. The synopsis id Pee-wee's beloved bike gets stolen one day and he must go on a quest to find it. Along the way he meets all sorts of weird and interesting people and he even learns a little something along the way.
I didn't really have any expectations when I started watching the movie but after a couple of minutes I was totally hooked and laughing my head off. This movie is so bazar and it has the weirdest humor and that's why I loved it. Paul Rubens (Pee-wee) is an absolute genius and it unfortunate that his not in more stuff. I know he's been doing a lot of tv stuff the past few years but I wish he made more movies like this and "Mystery Men". Ok, I don't want to ramble on about it but if you like odd movies and you've got a weird sense of humor this movie is certainly for you.
