Rooting Through The Bins
Good idea 1 - putting your cufflinks somewhere safe when you roll your sleeves up at work.
Good idea 2 - scraping all the rubbish from your packed lunch box into the dustbin at the end of the day.
Bad idea 1 - putting your cufflinks in your packed lunch box.
Bad idea 2 - forgetting your cufflinks are in your packed lunch box when you scrape everything out into the bin.
Approximately 40 minutes later I was sitting at my desk and it struck me. 'OH MY GOD!'
