Triumph 99

And so she said to me today 'I thought Basingstoke was going to be the source of all my problems but it's not, you're all really nice!'

Oh yeah. How could she have doubted it?

I'm really enjoying the Judge Dredd graphic novels I bought with my Waterstones vouchers. They're a little pricey at £19 each. They don't take as long to read as a book, but they're probably better value than a full price DVD. For that price you want:

Gripping stories - check
Fab full colour art on every page - check
Lots of creeps getting put down in iso-cubes - check.

I got volumes 13 and 14, which covers the build up to and the realisation of the Necropolis saga. Years ago I got a magazine which gave an outline of all Dredd's adventures to date in an A-Z format. They all sounded amazing, but the most fascinating one was about how Dredd came to leave the Judges and take the long walk, heading out into the radioactive wastelands of Cursed Earth to bring law to the lawless. So I've wanted to read this story for nigh on 15 years now! So far, it hasn't disappointed.
