The future is ever so cloudy...

So basically what happens is this...

there is a test called an SPI, Supervisor Performance Index. Before I can start management training, a 2 year program, I have to pass this test. If I pass I begin full-time 1st week of January. If I fail, I am shit of luck. Damn I'm nervous as hell. They all assure me I will pass, but I am still scared as fuck. Another thing is the pay increase from an intern to mgmt trainee or whatever I would be called is minimal. I am thinking $21/hr. Thats pretty damn gay. Especially considering the pay at Boeing is $28/hr. Crap, I am really at a crossroads now. So uncertain. Anyhow...for all those keeping up to date: I will not be relocating. Well I will, but not out of Southern California. Although, if I keep my options open and make myself available the program can be much less than 2 years. Not many are willing to be moved from CA to like Illinois. Not sure I want that either. Maybe like Boston or New York though.

Anyway:

BOEING: PROS:: lot more money, $ (money, money,.....moooney!)
CONS:: hate it there, little opportunity to really climb the ladder

UPS: PROS:: love the environment, very good opportunity to climb the corporate ladder
CONS:: crap salary the first 2 years!

hmmmm...yea. wonder where i'll live. so much up in the air right now. can't wait until february. god damn transition is coming!!!!

CHEERS!!! to those that are just always there
