So I decide to take a hike up the east fork of the 39. A very long one. 7 miles maybe. Two reasons: #1 I need to find mine shafts for a very short film I'm starting pre production on. #2 I need to find out whether or not I can possibly drive a gator (very large ATV with bed) up to them. Never found the mine shafts and there is absolutly no way even a gator could navigate that terrain. Unfortunately, brianiac here didn't prepare wisely and found himself in the dark. Nothing like the thrill of several incredibly long hours tripping onto your face, crossing freezing water 20 times having lost the path, and then freaking out over every small noise because of a recent cougar scare. Another round of applause for this one. I'm going to do nothing but watch TV all day tomorrow.
