San Diego / Film / Dana Point / DC
After working way too many hours and way too hard the past three weeks it's time for another mini vacation. Looks as though Saturday night Cam and myself are going to San Diego again. We'll have several days this time. The zoo and sea world are on top of the list of things to do. Any other recommendations? The project I just got off was an intensive 30 min film shot primarily at CBS studios. It was the most pressure I've had on a film this year. Primarily due to the level of talent working beside me. All union guys. The bar was raised and I'm pretty sure I met it. Also I led my first camera car mount, used the largest number of butterfly kits and had the toughest damn dollies moves ever. The day after drop offs camy and I went rock climbing next to the dana point beach. The waves crash right up against the rocks and if you take a wrong step you get smashed against them. There were several times we had to time our jumps as the ocean crashed in and rolled out. Very nintendo. If you get far enough there are great sea caves. You also see a tone of crabs and aninameas??? along the way. I'm starting to miss DC and want to go back soon. As in the next few weeks if work is slow. We'll see.
