Random dentist awesomeness for the win

I came in with a weird toothache. The office was closed but the dentist was there, apparently practicing his saxophone, which is why I thought it was a rehearsal space. I went in and told him about the pain and he said, even though it was his holiday, he would look at it for a minute. He couldn't be sure what was wrong so he gave me some foul medicine which makes me feel like my gums and part of my tongue have been seared off. He handed me some antibiotics to take home and told me if it still hurt in a few days to come back next week for a new filling.

When I told him I didn't have insurance, he comped the whole visit, including the medicine. On his day off.

Then we started talking about jazz and I gave him mine and my father's websites so he could listen to music. I even sang a few bars of his favorite tune, Billie's Bounce.

Seriously the most awesome experience I've had in a dentist's office. Ever.
