A day in the life...
My company makes a lot of bad decisions. One of them being the merger of my area (Higashi Kanto) and everything north on up (Sendai, Hookkaido, etc). this means that if they need a sub in Hokkaido, I "can go". I likie travelling, but my apartment is turning into a very expensive storage unit.
So last night I went out with my coworker, his girlfriend, and another teacher and student. We had nomihodai (all you can drink) and I had three beers. Afterwards, Jen bought me my 4th beer at a convini. Most of you know it only takes me 2.5 drinks to be good for the night. So 4 left me in a state of considerable inebriation which, in good company, was pretty awesome and hysterical. On the downside, I lost my glasses, seemingly for good. This is going to be very inconvini. Not to mention the fact I discovered: not wearing my glasses triggers sleepiness because the only time I take them off is to sleep.
