Yesterday was awesome!
I mailed my GEOS contract. It's official! I should be finding out where in Japan I'm going by next week, I think.
I went shopping at Filene's/Filene's Basement and got $100 worth of professional attire, a bra, and $12 worth of a cute as hell red shirt. Then...
Some of you know about my absolute fear of seafood...well, my buddy Dan and I went out for his birthday and we had sushi--real sushi! I had yellowtail, tuna, eel [which was delicious], crab [which may have been fake], and octopus, which wasn't that bad! I felt incredible afterward!
Then I met up with my friend Zeb and he and his friend Brian recorded me! We did the guitar songs that I wrote 3 years ago: Nothing Too Simple, Unworn Path, Blues & Reds, Mantis, End of the Season, and even Lightning on the Sea. They were just scratch tracks, but still, we got em done. While I'm in Japan, they're gonna replace the guitar parts and arrange the songs till they're rockin.
