Yesterday was rockin
My very sweet friend Dan took me out for sushi on Newbury for an early birthday celebration. [It was quite yummy.] After that he scored us free ice cream samples at his [::cough:: now former] workplace. Again with the yum. Then we had a lovely walk around the Fens [gardens]. For a platonic friend date it was very romantic :)
My folks sent me a package containing a briefcase for my interview, random stuff I had on my walls in Orlando, and presents from EPCOT's Japan pavilion: chopsticks, rice candy, and a beautiful kimono! Also a fan that belonged to my mom. I'll post pics later.
Now, to do more job-applying-for. Yeah. I should be an English teacher.
