Hurricane Irene
Oh, hey, look, an actual update! Will wonders never cease.
So yes, we're apparently getting hit by a Hurricane this weekend. I think someone pissed off Mother Nature, especially since we just had that earthquake earlier this week.
Anyway, I'm not really anticipating much for my area, except for perhaps isolated flooding, trees down and major power outages. I'm supposed to work on Sunday, but the keyword there is 'supposed to'. Apparently, I'm only to go into work if I get a phone call. They're supposed to have some sort of conference call as to whether the store is going to be open on Sunday or not.
So, if I disappear for a while, that's the reason why. Also, direct messages to my twitter (RobinTerrae) will be sent to my phone, which I plan on charging tonight/tomorrow (along with everything else. Yay electronic distractions), of you need me for anything, you can reach me there or by using LJ's text messenger feature.
Other then that, it's pretty much been life as usual.
