The Sonic X comic series tells the untold stories of the anime, with adventure taking place sometime after the Sonic Adventure 2 arc. There are currently no plans for Seasons 1, or 3 stories, though, Shadow the Hedgehog has been confimed to make an appearance.
At issue 40 Shadow and Metal Sonic make their debut, said to have been knocked straight out from the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. However, issue 40 is also the end of the Sonic X comics which will lead into the next comic series, Sonic Universe, which may mean that we might see eliments from the other worlds like AoSTH for example.
